Short Course: On-Site

General Information

The course is structured to take two and one-half days.  The first two days begin at 8 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m., with a half hour for lunch, usually at 12 noon to 12:30 p.m.  The third day of the course begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 12 noon. This schedule can be slightly adjusted if your company has different opening and closing times or wants a different lunch time. Costs for the course include a general fee, and expenses for two instructors for the two and one-half days of the course. Expenses for the instructors would include business class airfare, hotel, meals, etc. In addition, there will be a charge for the notebook each student receives for the course.

Occasionally the cost for an on-site presentation can vary if two courses are scheduled near each other in time and distance.  If a course in the same area of the world is scheduled prior to or just after one of these courses or in conjunction with another on-site course being offered nearby, the travel expenses are pro-rated to reduce the expense of offering the course at your site.

Pricing

IASR members and repeat customers: $15,000-$16,000 plus expenses.
For companies who have previously hosted an on-site course and for sponsors of IASR, the fee will be $15,000, plus expenses (including coach class travel) for two instructors, and cost of notebooks for courses held inside the US. $16,000 plus expenses (including business class travel) for courses held internationally.

The cost of the course material when the course is held inside the US is $225 per person and the cost when the course is held outside the US is $275 per person. First-Time Customers: $16,500-$17,500 plus expenses

The first time the short course is presented at a company in the US, the fee is $16,500, plus expenses (including coach class travel) for the two instructors, and cost of the notebooks. The cost for international presentations is $17,500 plus expenses (including business class travel). The cost of course materials when the course is held inside the US is $225 per person and the cost when the course is held outside the US is $275 per person.  The higher amount for international courses is to cover additional shipping expenses.

Consulting

Many companies schedule consulting time with the instructors while they are already on-site. The fee for consulting is $200 per hour ($1,600 per day per person or $800 per half-day per person) plus expenses. The consulting time is usually scheduled for the afternoon of the third day, following the short course, but can be at another time.
