Surfactant Associates, Inc. provides a schedule of reduced registration fees for surfactant training of member employs taking the Short Course in Applied Surfactant Science & Technology for registrants from companies which sponsor research of the Institute for Applied Surfactant Research (IASR) at the University of Oklahoma.  IASR is a group of highly productive and well-known faculty from chemical engineering and environmental engineering who perform research at the frontiers of colloid and surface science with emphasis on technological applications.  The goal of IASR is to perform research which will not only provide fundamental advances in the field, but will also have direct applicability to industrial concerns in areas including new markets for surfactants, detergent and personal care products, soil and groundwater remediation, wastewater clean-up, paper and plastics reuse, surface modification and many other surfactant applications.
