Our surfactant short course will give you a solid grounding in the basic principles that govern the behavior of surfactants in the many, many applications they have in modern technology.  Our course is unique in that respect, because it was designed by the industrial advisory board of the Institute for Applied Surfactant Research.

Rather than dedicating a course to emulsions, and having another course for foams and another, yet for cleaning, we have extracted, for you, those aspects of surfactant behavior that are central to all the many technologies where surfactants are key components.  We focus first on giving you a good, intuitive understand of those fundamentals.  Once that foundation is laid, we can cover the application of surfactants in many technologies in short order. Our course will help you understand why surfactants are able to do all the things they do.

You will not be able to learn everything you need to know about surfactants in 2 ½ days-even if we were able to cover everything you need to know!  So our short course also includes both recommended books and articles in the research literature.  Books are especially helpful in grounding you in the fundamentals of a technology.  Research articles allow you to discover the current state-of-the-art.
